Our panelists discussed the new innovation-friendly policies, R&D resources and funding, new tax incentives, partnership opportunities with competitive clusters, export opportunities, transnational partnerships and experiences of managing and establishing operations in France.

What: LCI's Accent Reduction Program focuses on eliminating language barriers and miscommunications that commonly occur when speaking English as a second language. The goal of accent reduction is not to eliminate an accent or disguise heritage, but to help the individual communicate clearly and effectively. LCI's Accent Reduction training focuses on isolating specific pronunciation techniques, which helps ESL speakers improve their English communication skills. LCI's training helps individuals focus on concise and clear pronunciation, improving their communication skills and bolstering their confidence in everyday communications, presentations and speaking over the phone.

What: Networking with internationally minded individuals from the French-American Chamber of Commerce, the German-American Chamber of Commerce and the World Trade Center.  This event was held on the rooftop patio to enjoy the wonderful Colorado summer.

Topic: Zak Barron with Constant Contact shared tips and tricks for making your email correspondence more appealing to your audience. Stressing the importance of a good subject line, he also talked about how to create targeted mailing lists, design visually appealing emails and avoid being listed as a spammer. Every attendee walked away with great new ideas and a wonderful workbook from Constant Contact to help improve their email correspondence.

February 9: Euro Networking

When: Tuesday, February 9, 6:00-8:00pm
Where: Delaney's Bar, 1805 Blake St., Denver, 80204
What: Close to 100 people enjoyed an evening of International Networking.  Delaney’s Bar turned out to be a perfect location providing amplef space to comfortably mingle with the other guests and exchange contacts and information. Despite the loose atmosphere of the bar there was a lot of commercial business-making going on between the guests that evening. Every Euro Networking brings in new guests who have never been to attended before in addition to many regular participants who have found successful business connections at the events. This trend makes Euro Networking an effective tool in gaining new contacts and generating new business.
