Redesign FACC Membership Brochure
Skills needed: Independent worker, eye for design, excellent writing skills, experience in marketing a plus.
Time Commitment: 10 hours (estimate)
Description: Draw up outline of text for brochure, collect images, design layout, proof and print.
Benefit: Gain experience in designing a professional Chamber brochure from start to finish.
Redesign FACC Information Packet
Skills needed: Independent worker, eye for design, excellent writing skills, experience in marketing a plus, knowledgeable in using MS Word
Time Commitment: 8 hours (estimate)
Description: Look at other Chamber Packets to get ideas, collect information and images, draft up information pages to include in the packet, develop finished product.
Benefit: Gain experience in designing a professional Chamber marketing piece from start to finish.
Design a FACC and CORA Marketing Banner
Skills needed: Independent worker, eye for design, experience in marketing a plus.
Time Commitment: 5 hours (estimate)
Description: Decide on key points to mention in banner, draft up a visual idea, work with Amelie Company to design final product, send to printer.
Benefits: Gain experience in designing a professional Chamber marketing piece, work with a professional PR and Marketing Firm.
CORA Newsletter
Skills needed: Independent worker, excellent writing skills, research experience, basic understanding of CORA's goals and ability to apply that knowledge to research, comfortable using internet, business journals, newspapers and blogs to conduct research, organized.
Time Commitment: 15-20 hours (estimate)
Description: Define topics of interest to research, search blogs, business journals, newspapers, etc., create template in Constant Contact for the newsletter, create schedule for sending out a quarterly newsletter
Benefits: Experience in doing targeted business research and designing a professional business newsletter
FACC and CORA Membership Development
Skills needed: Independent worker, knowledgeable in using MS Excel, basic understanding of FACC and CORA's target audience, research experience, organized,
Time Commitment: 10-15 hours (estimate)
Description: Define target audiences for each organization, search blogs, business journals, newspapers, company lists, contact potential companies to find contact person, create MS Excel spreadsheet listing potential companies and contact people Hands-On Experience: You will also have the option to assist the "pitch" meetings with Virginie Ganivet, Executive Director as she meets with these potential members
Benefits: Experience in doing targeted business research and seeing how a professional pitch is made
Beaujolais Silent Auction Donations
Skills needed: Independent worker, excellent writing skills, organized, experienced with MS Excel and MS Word, comfortable on the phone, comfortable asking for donations, ability to create and stick to a schedule.
Time Commitment: 15-20 hours (estimate)
Description: Create MS Excel spreadsheet of potential donors, revamp last year's Silent Auction letter and donor form, create a game plan of how to ask for donations, ask for donations and follow up, keep track of all contact in the MS Excel Spreadsheet
Benefits: Depending on total time spent on he project, you can earn free tickets to the Beaujolais event on November 18.
FACC Website Advertising
Skills needed: Independent worker, knowledgeable in using MS Excel, basic understanding of FACC's target audience, research experience, organized, experienced with MS Excel, comfortable on the phone, comfortable pitching advertising opportunities, ability to create and stick to a schedule.
Time Commitment: 10 hours (estimate)
Description: Define target audiences, search blogs, business journals, newspapers, company lists, browse other chamber sites to see who is advertising with them, contact potential companies to find contact person, create MS Excel spreadsheet listing potential companies and contact people, pitch advertising opportunities, follow up and keep track of all contact in the MS Excel Spreadsheet
