Laure Demond, Executive Director
Laure, a French native, has been living in the US since 2011 and joined us in Denver in 2012. Her recent experience in marketing as account manager at our member and partner Amélie Company brings the Chamber a new perspective on our communications and image. Laure is an seasoned marketer and sales consultant with her experiences in retail, in product management and as the owner and co-founder of Le French Corner which focused on supporting companies developing their reach in Colorado, one of the primary missions of the Chamber. We know that you will enjoy working with Laure at the RMFACC!
Lexie Savic, Event Coordinator
Lexie, originally from Atlanta, comes with a strong international background. She has lived and worked in both Paris and Copenhagen before returning to the U.S. to live in Denver. Her role in Paris involved international marketing for a startup while helping her boss improve his English. She then moved to Copenhagen to take on a role as an internal travel coordinator for a study abroad program. She has kept up to date with the French-American Chamber of Commerce everywhere she has lived and has spent years studying the French language and French culture. That combined with her event planning experience made for a perfect match to work for the chamber in the role of Event Coordinator. She is excited to stay connected with and help grow the French community in Denver.
Omar Soubra, FACC President
Director, Techno-Marketing, Trimble Navigation
Omar, a French native, has been developing a team of professional marketers in different parts of the world. He has been with Trimble Navigation, the leader in positioning solutions, for over 13 years, in various roles, from European Sales manager, to Portfolio/Market Manager. Omar holds anengineering degree in LASER and Photonics from Polytech Orléans, France, a Bachelor in Engineering, Electronics and Electricity from the University of Dundee,Scotland and a Master of Art in Sales and Marketing from the Chamber of Commerce of Versailles/Yvelines, France. Omar has been living in Colorado since January 2005.
Benoit Guin, FACC Chairman of the Board

Benoît is one of the founding members of the French-American Chamber of Commerce. He has 21 years of international agency experience in marketing and advertising services, starting his career in the most prestigious advertising agencies in Paris including Eurocom and DMB&B. In 2002, he founded Amélie Company, offering advertising and marketing services to French businesses as well as US companies.
Jeff Richards, FACC Board member
Honorary Consul of France
Attorney, Anstine, Hill, Richards & Simpson
Jeff is the Honorary Consul of France in Colorado. Prior to settling in Denver, Jeff studied and worked in France. He has been active in the French Community in Colorado since the 1980s and is past president of the Alliance Française de Denver. Jeff began his legal career in Washington, D.C. and is currently a partner with the law firm of Anstine, Hill, Richards & Simpson, where he specializes in commercial, business and insurance litigation for both French and American clients.
Marc Duflos, FACC Board member
After graduating from ESSEC Business School in Paris, Marc came to the U.S. in 2005 and settled in Southern California. He initially ran two luxury stores in the Los Angeles area for a French investor and then decided to move to the accounting field and joined a CPA firm specializing in the Entertainment industry. His family then took him to beautiful Colorado in 2008 where he became a U.S. citizen and earned a Master in Accounting from Regis University. Marc now lives in Denver with his wife and two children and works for a regional CPA firm specializing in the Oil & Gas industry. Marc works on complex individual, fiduciary, non-profit, and business tax returns. Thanks to his language skills, he is also involved in some international tax issues affecting the expatriate community.

After 4 years of representing the RMFACC around the World, Melanie is pursuing a new adventure, with the creation of her own event company, MELEVENT, where she will support and organize corporate and public events for non-profits and companies in various industries.
