A message from our President Emeritus, Omar-Pierre Soubra

Briefly after joining the RMFACC, I was elected president of our chapter in November 2011. It has been a fantastic ride and has opened a lot of opportunities locally with our successive governors, the French Ambassador's visit to Colorado, and internationally with the Mayors of Paris and of Brest and with organization like MEDEF International.

Dear all,

We have elected a new board for the FACC Rocky Mountain Chapter. Maria Brunet is now our new president. Maria brings a lot of experiences from leading non-profit organizations, to M&A and consulting. She has run several companies and is now heading a VC firm. We are very lucky to have such a great leader in our community and extremely honored that she has accepted to join and carry the mission of the French American Chambers locally. I am also very honored that one of Maria's and the new board decision was to recognize my work serving you over the years and to appoint me as President Emeritus for the Rocky Mountain Chapter.

I have been appointed Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur de la France and it was time for me to give the relay torch to a new and dynamic person. As CCEF, I will still be on the board of the Chamber and will continue to support its actions. The RMFACC is a small chapter with great potential, considering the huge growth of Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Wyoming.

Please join me in welcoming Maria and helping her getting up to speed with our great network and chamber!

Thank you for all your energy, dynamism and support over the years.

Best to all and thank you again for all your support.
Omar-Pierre Soubra
