CELEBRATING NOUVEAU:
Beaujolais Nouveau is a beloved French tradition that celebrates the first wine of the new vintage. Bottled just weeks after harvest, it's meant to be enjoyed immediately.
WINE MAKING:
Beaujolais Nouveau is a vibrant wine made using hand-harvested and de-stemmed grapes, employing a technique called carbonic maceration for a fresh and low-tannin profile.
DID YOU KNOW?
The fruit used in Beaujolais Nouveau commands a higher price than that for other Beaujolais wines, benefiting both growers with premium pricing and consumers with the best fruit of the season!
ABOUT GEORGES DUBOEUF:
Known worldwide as the "Pope" or "King" of Beaujolais, Georges Duboeuf (1933-2020) was a globally recognized trader, breeder, and producer. His legacy continues through Les Vins Georges Duboeuf, a renowned house famous for its Beaujolais Nouveaux and great celebrations.
Les Vins Georges Dubeouf offer a range of wines from the Beaujolais and Mâconnais A.O.C.s, highly appreciated by the specialized press. The house collaborates with over 300 winemakers and exports 75% of its production to around 120 countries. Recognizable by their floral ornament labels, Duboeuf wines are a true ambassador for the region. The Hameau Duboeuf, a vine and wine museum, offers an immersive experience in Beaujolais country since 1993.
TASTING NOTES AND SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
With vibrant red fruit flavors like strawberries and currants and an intense perfume, Beaujolais Nouveau pairs perfectly with cheese, charcuterie, and holiday dishes.
