This breakfast offers RMFACC members and partners a rare opportunity to engage with French Minister Roland Lescure during his official visit to Denver. Centered on the theme “Strengthening Transatlantic Industry, Trade, and Innovation,” the gathering will spark dialogue on shared economic challenges and opportunities between France, the U.S., and Colorado. Hosted on the patio of La Belle French Bakery in Broomfield, the event will bring both the local and international community together. About Roland Lescure
Roland Lescure, born in Paris in 1966, is a French economist and politician who currently serves as Vice-President of the French National Assembly and represents French citizens living in the United States and Canada. A graduate of École Polytechnique, ENSAE, and the London School of Economics, Lescure began his career in France’s Ministry of Economy and Finance and at INSEE before holding senior roles at Groupama and Natixis.
In 2009, he became Chief Investment Officer at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), one of the world’s largest public investment funds. Elected to the National Assembly in 2017 with Emmanuel Macron’s La République En Marche! (LREM), he chaired the Economic Affairs Committee and helped shape major economic policies.
In July 2022, Lescure was appointed Minister Delegate for Industry, with his portfolio expanding in February 2024 to include Energy, focusing on decarbonizing industrial sites and supporting businesses facing high energy costs. Re-elected in July 2024, he now combines his parliamentary role with a leading voice on transatlantic economic relations.
