Elise Hamann

Board Director

Elise Hamann is a Global Business Development Manager with the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT), where she supports international investment attraction, company expansion, and long-term economic growth across the state. Her work focuses on advanced industries including clean energy, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and emerging technologies.


Elise works closely with international companies, economic development organizations, and government partners to support Foreign Direct Investment, market entry, site selection, and strategic partnerships. She has lead international investment initiatives and delegations across a range of global markets, including significant engagement with French and Francophone partners.


She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Denver and is a recipient of the U.S. Boren National Security Scholarship in Senegal. She grew up across the US and in Morocco and later gained international professional experience through roles with the U.S. Embassy in France, development and microfinance institutions in Senegal, and USAID in Morocco.
