Vanessa Galjaardt

Vanessa is a specialist in project management and market studies with over 20 years of experience in diplomacy, events organization, due diligence and entrepreneurship.

She also has assisted non-profit associations like International Women’s Clubs for over 10 years and has played an active part in organizing networking events. She loves to connect with others and see people and businesses thrive in this context.

Raised in the South of France she went to complete her Bachelor of Arts in International Economics at Durham University in England. She then obtained a Master’s degree in International Economics at McGill University in Montreal.

Her work has led her all over the world. She worked at the French-Trade Commissions in Vancouver and Dubai helping French companies setting up their businesses in these locations.

She also has been a Chargée de Mission for Michel Rocard, Former French Prime Minister, for over 6 years when she was based at the Australian Embassy in Paris. Here she organized and managed commemorative events in France and Australia to celebrate the bicentenary of a French naval expedition that made extraordinary scientific discoveries in the early 1800s.

Vanessa has a license in real estate and she is managing several investment properties through her own business.

After living in Australia, UAE, Iraq and France, she has now settled in SLC, beautiful Utah with her Australian husband and their 3 teenagers where she enjoys the outdoors.

Vanessa is very grateful to be part of the Rocky Mountains French American Chamber of Commerce and is excited to help develop the business ties between France and the USA.
