Gathers in Salt Lake City for the Small Satellite Conference (SmallSat), August 23–26, 2026, at the Salt Palace Convention Center.
For the French-American Chamber of Commerce – Rocky Mountain (RMFACC), this year's conference is especially exciting. Several of our member companies — Safran Defense & Space, Sodern and Exail — will be exhibiting, while Business France North America and Alliance NewSpace France bring a delegation of 14 French companies to the France Pavilion at Booth #2013.

RMFACC Members at SmallSat
We are proud to celebrate our member companies participating in this major space-industry gathering:
Safran Defense & Space — Booth #1019 Safran DSI will showcase technologies supporting secure communications, navigation, control and reliable satellite operations.
Sodern — Booth #2034 Sodern will present its expertise in star trackers and space cameras, including the new Auriga™ Gyro.
Exail — Booth #602 Exail will showcase its Astrix NS Fiber-Optic Gyroscope and space-grade photonics technologies for next-generation satellite missions.
Their participation demonstrates the strength of French and French-American innovation within the rapidly growing space sector.
14 French Companies Coming to Utah
Business France North America and Alliance NewSpace France are bringing 14 companies to SmallSat as part of the France Pavilion:
Cedrat Technologies, U-Space, Groundspace, Skynopy, RIDE!, Coriolis Composites, ACTIA Aerospace, Wheere, MECANO ID, Connektica, 3IPK, Enersens, PYXALIS and ATEQ Group.
Together, these companies represent capabilities across satellite manufacturing, launch services, ground infrastructure, electronics, positioning, advanced materials, sensors, manufacturing technologies and testing.
Strengthening the France-Utah Connection
For RMFACC, this presence represents much more than a trade show.
Bringing French companies directly into Utah creates opportunities to connect with customers, suppliers, investors, universities, government partners and other leaders within the region's growing aerospace ecosystem.
A first introduction at SmallSat can lead to a commercial partnership, investment, supplier relationship or future expansion into the United States.
As RMFACC continues to grow its presence in Utah, we are excited about what this gathering makes possible for the French-American economic relationship in the state and across the Rocky Mountain region.
We warmly welcome the Business France delegation and all of the French companies traveling to Salt Lake City, and congratulate our member companies Safran Defense & Space, Sodern and Exail on their participation.
Bienvenue en Utah — and here's to building the next generation of French-American partnerships.
