At Bastille Day: French Fest 2025, one of the most heartwarming—and delightfully creative—moments unfolded beneath the summer sun with “Color a Chacho with Cha.” A French artist now living in Denver, Cha invited festivalgoers into her playful universe to meet Chacho, her signature character, and color alongside her in an interactive, all-ages art session.
From 1:00 to 7:00 PM on Saturday, July 12, Fillmore Plaza buzzed with imagination as visitors sat down for 30-minute sessions with Cha. Each group of three got cozy in a shaded nook, where art supplies were thoughtfully provided and inspiration was endless. Families, kids, friends, and even solo adventurers brought Chacho to life with color and flair, guided by Cha’s joyful energy and French storytelling.
More than a coloring session, this activation offered a quiet moment of creativity in the middle of a lively festival—an artistic pause that reminded us of the beauty of slowing down and making something with our hands. And best of all? Each participant took home their personalized Chacho artwork as a vibrant memory from the weekend.
About Cha & Chacho
Cha’s artwork is instantly recognizable—dreamy, bright, and packed with personality. Her character Chacho, with his expressive charm and curious spirit, is a recurring figure in her murals and illustrations. At French Fest, he became a new friend to many and a symbol of cultural creativity.
