French Congressman Christopher Weissberg's visit to Colorado

It was a distinct honor to welcome Mr. Christopher Weissberg, the French congressman representing the French living in North America 🇺🇸 🇨🇦

Throughout his visit, Mr. Weissberg engaged with the dynamic and thriving French-American business community at the latest establishment of La Belle French Bakery in Broomfield.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Chef Julien Renaut and his team for hosting us; the Galette des Rois was a delight.

📚 We take pride in the presence of numerous bilingual schools catering to both the French and local communities, thereby offering enhanced educational opportunities for our children to become proficient in both French and English. A special acknowledgment to the French American School of Denver, led by Suzanne Acheson, Wendy Fisher and Stephanie Koussaya M. Ed., for showcasing the remarkable achievements of their charter school in the City Park area over the past three years.

🏫 Subsequently, Mr. Weissberg had the opportunity to acquaint himself with the International School of Denver, the inaugural bilingual school established in 1977 in Denver. We express our appreciation to Christèle Turner and Robert Carignan for the insights shared on the school's commitment to delivering an exceptional education to all its students.

Additionally, a visit to one of the oldest nonprofit organizations in Denver celebrating its 127th anniversary this year, the Alliance Française de Denver thanks to its Director Rebecca Boyd.

To conclude this insightful tour,

Congressman Christopher Weissberg invited the French community to celebrate the new year at the French wine bar, La Bouche, owned by Alexis TRÉTON and Alexandra Tréton Le Porhiel.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who participated to this visit. On behalf of the RMFACC, its President, Victor Ducoulombier, Vice-President Benjamin Grajzgrund, Director Emma Glass, Business Development Manager Alexandra Miller and the entire Board, we extend our gratitude to Mr. Weissberg for his visit.
