Colorado Startup Week Returns September 14–18, Spotlighting French-American Quantum Innovation

“Quantum Across the Atlantic” will bring together leaders from Colorado and France to explore commercialization, research, investment and international collaboration in the quantum sector.

DENVER, Colo. — September 12, 2026 — The French-American Chamber of Commerce – Rocky Mountain (RMFACC) will host Quantum Across the Atlantic: The French-American Quantum Ecosystem in the Rocky Mountains on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, as part of Colorado Startup Week.

Presented in collaboration with the Colorado Quantum Incubator and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), the event will bring together leaders from industry, research, government, investment and economic development to examine the growing connections between Colorado’s quantum ecosystem and France’s leadership in quantum science, photonics and advanced technology.

Colorado Startup Week, taking place September 14–18, brings together entrepreneurs, investors, innovators and business leaders from across the state through programming focused on technology, entrepreneurship, investment and economic growth.

RMFACC’s featured program will place the French-American relationship directly within that conversation.

Quantum Across the Atlantic

Quantum Across the Atlantic: The French-American Quantum Ecosystem in the Rocky Mountains will explore how international collaboration can accelerate the development and commercialization of emerging quantum technologies.

The program will examine opportunities in areas including quantum commercialization, photonics, sensing, investment, technology transfer, entrepreneurship and transatlantic business development.

The discussion will be moderated by Tanya Ramond, PhD, MBA, Director of Business Development at the Colorado Quantum Incubator, and will feature perspectives from leaders across Colorado’s quantum ecosystem and the broader French-American technology community.

The program will conclude with audience Q&A and a networking reception designed to create new connections among companies, researchers, investors and institutions working across the sector.

Connecting Two Leading Innovation Ecosystems

Colorado has rapidly established itself as one of the leading quantum technology centers in the United States, supported by a strong concentration of federal laboratories, universities, startups, established technology companies and investors.

France has similarly made quantum technology a national strategic priority and is home to significant expertise in quantum computing, photonics, sensing, research and advanced manufacturing.

For RMFACC, the convergence of these two ecosystems represents an important opportunity to build new commercial and institutional connections between France and the Rocky Mountain region.
