The MICHELIN Guide will unveil its 2026 Colorado restaurant selections on Monday, September 14, marking a major new chapter for the state’s culinary community.

This year’s edition is especially significant because, for the first time, the MICHELIN Guide has expanded its coverage to the entire state of Colorado.

Since MICHELIN first launched its Colorado guide in 2023, inspectors had focused on Denver, Boulder, Aspen, Snowmass Village, Vail and Beaver Creek. The 2026 expansion means restaurants in communities across Colorado are now eligible for recognition, creating new opportunities for chefs and hospitality businesses throughout the state.

The September 14 announcement will reveal the restaurants receiving MICHELIN Stars, Bib Gourmand distinctions and MICHELIN Recommended recognition in the new statewide edition.

For the French-American Chamber of Commerce – Rocky Mountain, the expansion represents another meaningful connection between France and Colorado. Founded in France and recognized around the world as one of the most influential authorities in gastronomy, MICHELIN continues to bring international attention to Colorado’s growing culinary sector.

The statewide expansion also reflects the increasing visibility of Colorado as a destination for food, hospitality and tourism, while providing restaurants beyond the guide’s original geographic boundaries an opportunity to be evaluated by MICHELIN inspectors.

Ahead of Monday’s announcement, local media have already begun speculating about which restaurants could earn recognition, including establishments in communities such as Breckenridge and Colorado Springs that were previously outside the guide’s eligible territory.

RMFACC looks forward to celebrating the chefs, restaurateurs and hospitality professionals recognized in the 2026 guide and to seeing Colorado’s culinary community continue to strengthen its international profile. The 2026 MICHELIN Guide Colorado selections will be announced Monday, September 14, 2026.
