Direct Flight Phoenix to Arizona Launches May 23rd
The Valentine’s week event of our French American Chamber of Commerce – Love is in the Air, was a grand success, celebrating the recent announcement of the Air France operated nonstop flight from Phoenix to Paris!
Special thanks to Dimitri Demianenko, Deputy Consul General ofFrance, for participating in the event, and to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport for hosting us. Chad R. Makovsky, A.A.E, Aviation Director at City of Phoenix and Alexandria Van Haren, AirService Development Manager at Phoenix Sky Harbor delivered fascinating presentations about the airport operations.We also had the pleasure of hearing from Lisa Urias, CEO and EDD at the Arizona Office of Tourism, who announced a big advertising campaign to promote this new flight and Arizona, set to start in the Parisian subway soon. Nathalie Poto of AtoutFrance, also shared her insights on promoting France as a destination, and Casey Gilchrist, Senior Director, International Business Development for the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, communicated the current and expected economic exchanges between France and Arizona. Their presentations were truly enlightening.
