The French-American Chamber of Commerce Rocky Mountain (RMFACC) is proud to announce the election of Tyler Thiret as Vice President of the RMFACC Board of Directors.
Tyler brings a strong background in corporate law, venture capital, and entrepreneurship, along with a deep personal connection to the French-American business community in the Rocky Mountain region.
A Legal and Business Background Focused on Growth
Tyler Thiret is a corporate attorney with nearly a decade of experience in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and start-up company advisory work. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise navigating the legal and strategic challenges companies face - from early-stage formation, through their strategic growth phases, and ultimately in successful exit transactions.
Tyler earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, during which he spent a year studying at Sciences Po Paris, deepening his connection to France, its culture and its environment of business, entrepreneurship and international collaborations.
He later received his law degree from UCLA School of Law in 2017 and began his legal career at Paul Hastings LLP in New York City. During his time in the firm’s corporate practice, Tyler led M&A transactions with an aggregate value of several billion dollars, while also advising on more than 60 unique venture capital transactions.
Today, Tyler operates a boutique corporate law practice as the founder of TCT Legal, LLC. As an independent practitioner, he is able to leverage his depth of expertise in the world of multinational "big law" in a more directly impactful role, supporting high-growth companies and their investors as they navigate complex legal and strategic landscapes in their start-up, venture capital and M&A projects.
Born and raised in Colorado, Tyler’s ties to the French-American community run deep. His family history includes a legacy of entrepreneurship that began with his grandfather Michel, who immigrated to Denver from France in the early 1950s and went on to build multiple successful businesses. Inspired by this heritage, Tyler is committed to strengthening the economic and cultural connections between France and the Rocky Mountain region. "I suppose French-American commerce runs in my blood," said Tyler. "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to the community that my grandfather helped to build here in Colorado and across the region."
“Tyler’s background in venture capital, entrepreneurship, and international experience will be a tremendous asset to the Chamber,” said Victor Ducoulombier, President of the Board of the French-American Chamber of Commerce Rocky Mountain (RMFACC). “We are proud to welcome him as Vice President of the Board and look forward to his leadership as we continue building a dynamic French-American business community across the Rocky Mountain region.”
Supporting the Next Phase of RMFACC’s Growth
As Vice President of the Board, Tyler will help support RMFACC’s strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening business ties between France and the United States, expanding the Chamber’s membership network, and supporting entrepreneurs, executives, and companies operating in the Rocky Mountain region.
With its growing network of French and American companies, entrepreneurs, and community leaders, RMFACC continues to serve as a key platform for transatlantic collaboration, business development, and cultural exchange.
The Chamber is honored to welcome Tyler Thiret into this leadership role and looks forward to the contributions he will bring to the organization and its members.
