RMFACC is honored to congratulate Omar-Pierre Soubra on his appointment as Honorary Consul of France in Colorado, effective 2025, by the French Government and the U.S. Department of State, under the authority of the Consulate General of France in Los Angeles.

A long-standing member of RMFACC and its President Emeritus, Omar-Pierre has long been a central figure in the French-American ecosystem of the Rocky Mountain region. Known professionally and within the community as Omar, he brings decades of leadership at the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, culture, and public service.

Omar is a pioneer in LiDAR and 3D scanning technologies, having helped shape industry-leading geospatial solutions that translate complex market challenges into tangible, customer-ready innovation. His career also spans immersive arts and experiential design, including advanced LED systems, animatronics, and high-tech installations.

Beyond technology, Omar is the founder of LA BOUTIQUE, a French gourmet market and deli in Fort Collins that celebrates French culinary heritage through products, catering, and cooking classes—further strengthening cultural ties at the community level.

A recognized innovation thinker and keynote speaker, Omar created the Innopassion concept and has long advised the French government as a CCEF trade advisor. His service as President Emeritus of RMFACC and his ongoing support of nonprofit organizations reflect a deep commitment to strengthening economic and cultural links between Colorado, France, and Europe.

As Honorary Consul, Omar will continue to serve French nationals, support French businesses, and advance diplomatic, economic, and cultural relations across Colorado—building on a legacy of engagement and leadership. We proudly welcomes him into this new chapter!
