A Week of Global Innovation in Colorado

The 41st Space Symposium brought leaders from around the world to Colorado Springs for one of the most important gatherings in the global space industry. For the French-American Chamber of Commerce Rocky Mountain Chapter, the week was about showing up, supporting our partners, and helping strengthen the connections between French companies and the Rocky Mountain business ecosystem.

The French Pavilion by Business France North America

The French Pavilion was organized by Business France North America in partnership with CNES, GIFAS, Alliance NewSpace France, and the French Space Command. Their work brought together an impressive delegation of French companies and created a strong platform for visibility, business development, and international collaboration.

A Strong French Delegation

We were proud to connect with many of the companies represented, including AIKO, Air Liquide, Aldoria, Aubert & Duval, Cailabs, CS GROUP, Dassault Aviation, ENENSYS Technologies, EREMS, Eviden, EXENS Solutions, Exotrail, Groundspace, HEMERIA, ION-X, Look Up, MBDA, Miratlas, MVG | Microwave Vision Group, OLEDCOMM, OSMOS X, RIDE!, Skynopy, Spaceflight Institute, ThrustMe, Unseenlabs, Watt & Well, Zephalto, 3D PLUS, and 3IPK. Their presence showed the depth of French expertise across the space sector, from advanced technologies and satellite systems to communications, materials, defense, and emerging innovation.

RMFACC’s Role on the Ground

RMFACC was proud to be present throughout the week to support the French delegation, make introductions, and help connect companies with partners across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region. We were grateful to engage with organisations including Denver Metro EDC and Colorado’s Global Business Development team, whose work continues to strengthen Colorado’s international business landscape. A meaningful highlight was the visit from the Governor of Colorado to the French companies, joined by RMFACC Board Member Elise Hamann.

It was a strong reminder of Colorado’s commitment to international partnerships and the growing relationship between France and the Rocky Mountain region. Member Companies, Safran Defense & Space and Sodern America had booths which were visited by the Governor.

RMFACC Executive Director Sacha Francois also had the opportunity to present at the French Pavilion and share more about the Chamber’s role in supporting French and American companies across the region. The presentation was an opportunity to highlight Colorado as a gateway for French companies entering or growing in the U.S. market, and to speak directly to the value of local relationships, trusted connections, and long-term community building.

Space Symposium was more than a week of meetings. It was a week of conversations, introductions, shared ideas, and new possibilities. Thank you to Business France North America, CNES, GIFAS, Alliance NewSpace France, the French Space Command, and the full French delegation for bringing such strong energy and expertise to Colorado. RMFACC is excited to build on this momentum and continue helping create meaningful French-American business connections across the Rocky Mountain region.
