SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - September 2026 - The French-American Chamber of Commerce - Rocky Mountain will host the USA 250: Franco-American Leadership Business Reception on
Thursday, September 24, 2026, in the Rotunda of the Utah State Capitol.
The reception celebrates the historic Franco-American relationship while building new connections across business, education, culture, government and industry.
Utah was selected for its growing economy, innovative spirit and expanding ties with France.

The Battle of Yorktown provides the historical foundation for the evening, connecting one of the defining moments of French-American cooperation with a modern conversation about leadership, investment, talent and international collaboration.
The program will feature leaders including Valerie Brisset, Consul General of France in San Francisco; Utah Senate Minority Leader Luz Escamilla; Anne Lair, Honorary Consul of France in Utah; Guillaume Marty of Boccard North America; Jean-Luc Palayer of Orano USA; Jonathan Freedman of World Trade Center Utah; César Sanchez of the David Eccles School of Business; Christophe Gilliot of BZB Sewing and BlackJack Sportswear; Paul Sheives of bioMérieux and Joseph Maillard of Edward Jones.
Two featured discussions will focus on education, talent, innovation and Utah-France cooperation, followed by business, investment and Utah's attractiveness to French companies.
