On Tuesday evening, the French-American Chamber of Commerce Rocky Mountain Chapter gathered French, French-speaking, international, and locally connected professionals at Pinard Wine Bar & Restaurant in Scottsdale for French Tech Connect Arizona, a happy hour designed to bring people together around business, technology, and community.
French-American Business Community in Arizona
The evening was intentionally informal. There was no stage, no long program, and no forced networking format. Instead, the goal was simple: create the right environment for meaningful introductions to happen naturally.
Across the room, a few themes kept surfacing:
Why so many international companies are looking at Phoenix and Arizona right now
How French, French-speaking, and globally minded professionals can better connect in the region
What collaboration can look like beyond exchanging business cards
How RMFACC Arizona fits within the broader national network of 18 French-American Chambers across the United States
What the community wants to see more of in the year ahead
The conversations were exactly the kind we hope for at these events: a founder comparing notes with someone who recently relocated, professionals discovering shared contacts across industries, and quiet introductions that may turn into meetings, partnerships, or future opportunities.
Why Arizona, Why Now
Arizona continues to attract attention as a growing hub for technology, innovation, advanced industries, and international business. For the French-American Chamber of Commerce, that momentum creates an important opportunity: to help connect the people and companies building across both sides of the Atlantic.
French Tech Connect Arizona was not just a happy hour. It was a signal that the French-American business community in Arizona is growing, becoming more visible, and ready for deeper engagement.
As part of the Rocky Mountain Chapter, RMFACC Arizona is connected not only to professionals across Arizona, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Wyoming, but also to the larger French-American Chamber network throughout the United States. That broader network creates real value for companies expanding into new markets, professionals building cross-border relationships, and organizations looking for trusted connections.
The Environment Was Perfect
Pinard Wine Bar & Restaurant did much of the work for us. The setting was warm, intimate, and easy to settle into. The wine list gave strangers an immediate conversation starter, and the space made it possible for people to move from quick introductions into longer conversations.
What Happens Next
RMFACC is here to help turn conversations into connections and connections into action.
Thank you to everyone who joined us during Arizona Tech Week, and a sincere merci to Pinard for the hospitality, recommendations, and patience as the room lingered longer than expected.
