Event Recap: Arizona Cities Series – Spotlight on Prescott

Where Innovation Meets Community

As part of our ongoing Arizona Cities Series, the RMFACC had the opportunity to explore Prescott on May 9 — a charming, fast-growing city nestled in the mountains of north-central Arizona. Known for its deep-rooted sense of community, access to innovation, and beautiful natural surroundings, Prescott continues to stand out as a hub for business opportunity and collaboration.

A Thriving, Supportive Community

On May 9, our Arizona Cities Series took us through Prescott, a town built on collaboration, growth, and opportunity. With direct flights to LA and Denver, it offers easy access to major cities while preserving its charm.

Our visit included insightful discussions with John Heiney from the City of Prescott, Sheri Heiney from the Prescott Chamber of Commerce, and Cristina Nicole Binkley from Experience Prescott. Their dedication to Prescott’s growth was inspiring, highlighting exciting business opportunities, a strong local network, and the city’s commitment to fostering economic success.

A huge thanks to Angela Hardesty for her invaluable support in making this visit a success!

Exploring Innovation at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

Our Prescott visit continued with an exclusive tour of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University led by Chancellor Dr. Ken Witcher. We explored the Cyber Security Information Operations Center, received insights from Dr. Krishna Sampigethaya, visited the Jim and Linda Lee Planetarium, and toured the Flightline Campus.

We look forward to strengthening cooperation in aerospace, cybersecurity, and aviation. Special thanks to Dr. Ken Witcher, Krishna Sampigethaya, and Tami Wildoner-Rosengren for hosting us.

Art, Wine & Cheese – A Perfect Prescott Finale

After an inspiring day in Prescott, we ended with a warm and lively Art, Wine & Cheese Happy Hour, hosted by Arizona Stronghold Vineyards, Hardesty, LLC, The Art Hive, SAVENCIA, and LM Studio. Stunning artwork, fine wine, and exceptional cheeses created the perfect setting for conversation and connection.

Special thanks to Ed Madden, Laura Madden, Terrence Glomski, Nissa Dell, and Angela Hardesty for their generosity. Prescott’s community spirit made this event unforgettable!

A City of Opportunity and Connection

From civic leadership to innovation and artistic flair, Prescott proved to be a city where relationships and ideas flourish. We left inspired by the city’s welcoming energy and its commitment to growth, and we look forward to deepening the connections made.

Stay tuned as the RMFACC continues its journey through Arizona, highlighting the regions shaping the future of business, culture, and community.
