Member Spotlight: Conversation with Arnaud Lavigne, Owner and Designated Broker, AGL Real Estate




What inspired you to start working at such a young age? 

"Growing up in Saint-Brieuc, Brittany, I was eager to step into the world and make something of myself. I started in the restaurant and hotel business at 15, which really opened my eyes to the world of service and management. It was both challenging and rewarding, setting a solid foundation for my career."





How has serving in the 13eme Régiment de Dragons Parachutistes influenced your professional life?"The army taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of strategic planning. These skills have been crucial in my life and international career."


What drove you to pursue an international path after your time in the military?"I've always had a case of wanderlust. Moving to Switzerland initially opened several doors for me, and living in different countries like Australia, Canada, and the United States has enriched me."


Since moving to Phoenix in 2015, how have you adapted to the real estate landscape in the U.S.?"Phoenix was an unexpected move, but it turned out to be a significant one. The real estate market here is vibrant and diverse. My international experience gives me a unique perspective that resonates well with my clients, including those from overseas."


As a top real estate agent recognized within the top 2% in 2021, what do you attribute your success to?"Success comes from hard work, early mornings—I start my day at 4:55 AM—and a strong network. My affiliation with top coaching and real estate networks globally has also been instrumental. My passion for travel, wine, and staying active through running, cycling, kayaking, and practicing Ninjutsu helps maintain a strong mindset and life balance."


Can you tell us more about AGL Real Estate and what makes it stand out?"AGL Real Estate, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, focuses on residential real estate and property management. We handle everything from luxury to budget-friendly properties and manage over 50 properties in the Phoenix area. Our team is equipped to cater to a diverse clientele, including many international investors."


What are your future plans for your company, brokerage?"Last summer, we officially launched our own brokerage, which was a significant milestone. We’re planning to expand our operations by the end of 2024, including hiring more staff and beginning to recruit real estate agents in 2025. It’s an exciting time for us."


Finally, Arnaud, what keeps you motivated after all these years in the industry?"My son is my biggest motivation. Being a father to an amazing son keeps me focused on what’s important. Besides that, I love what I do. The thrill of sealing a deal, the satisfaction of happy clients, and a genuine passion for real estate keep me going every day."
